4th of July is a time to celebrate America’s Independence with friends and family and enjoy each other’s company. The perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July is to make holiday-themed recipes and activities that everyone can enjoy. Try these delicious, red, white, and blue recipes at your 4th of July party:
Red, White, & Blue Layered Drink
Start with Cranberry-Apple Juice, which contains the most sugar, in a glass filled with ice. Next, add Pina Colada flavored SoBe, and top off with Blue Gatorade G2. Add a red, white, and blue streamer and this drink will be a delicious favorite of every party guest!
Red, White, & Blue Ooey Gooey Bars
All you’ll need is 1 box of white cake mix, 2 eggs, ½ cup of oil, blue gel food color, 2 7oz. containers of marshmallow cream, 3 tablespoons of butter, 6 cups of mini marshmallows, red no-tasted gel food coloring, 6 cups of Rice Krispies.
Add the blue food coloring to the white cake mix for the bottom layer of the beautiful concoction. Once you’ve prepared and cooked the cake, remove from the oven and top of with the marshmallow cream. Next, you’ll want to melt the butter in the microwave and add mini marshmallows and stir to coat. Add the red gel food coloring and stir until you have a perfectly even red hue. Mix in the Rice Krispies to the red mixture. Refrigerate to make the bars stable. Before serving your beautiful dish, cut the snacks with a star shaped cookie cutter, and enjoy!
Sprinkles!
Adding red and blue sprinkles to nearly everything you are serving at your 4th of July party is the perfect way to make things cute and festive. If you are making chocolate covered strawberries for instance, use white chocolate instead of milk chocolate and dip them in blue sprinkles before serving! Yummy and festive!
